Kalya Scintilla? No… Griffin Kloud!

After a hiatus thought not totally without communication in 5 years, Yaegon Lamagaia AKA Kalya Scintilla and the master behind a couple other projects, including MERKABA (psytrance/experimental) and a downtempo/ambient project also began and is behind the international psybass label Merkaba Music. There were two quiet releases also in 2020 and 2022, but was done so quietly and to only innermost circles almost as if this alter-ago was kept a secret. This album also features his partner, Eve de Voke, on track 9 as well as an out-of-norm uplifting lyricist track (Track 4: Lion’s Roar feat. KNOWAKING). Many of the other tracks still evoke that feeling of craft and intention, and we are so happy to explore this album further after long last without a full album from one of our favorite tune-crafters.
